Authenticate Principal

Authenticate the Principal on the Plinqx Named Credential so Salesforce can obtain and refresh tokens for outbound callouts.

Steps

  1. Open Setup.
  2. In Quick Find, search for Named Credentials, then open the Plinqx Named Credential.

  1. Click Edit
  2. Change the URL to your Salesforce url e.g. https://my-domain.my.salesforce.com

  1. Click Save

  2. In the Authentication Section Click the. Plinqx External Credential

  1. Click the Edit button

  1. In the Identity Provider section set the type as Auth Provider.

  2. Then select the Auth Provider Plinqx

  1. Click Save

  2. In the Principals section, confirm the principal shows Not Configured.

  3. Open the principal row Actions menu and select the Authenticate option.

  1. Complete the browser-based authentication flow. You may be prompted to log in to Salesforce.

  1. Return to the Named Credential and confirm the principal status is Configured.

  • The principal shows Configured.
